Accreditation
Synonymous with rigour, professionalism, resources and technical expertise, the SUMALAB Laboratory is accredited under Standard NP EN ISO 17025 for more than a hundred tests and is accredited for water, liquid effluents, solid waste and sample collection.

Regulation
Because self-assessment and monitoring of systems are essential for maintaining the quality of services provided, while ensuring the detection and correction of anomalies, the SUMALAB Laboratory is monitored by ERSAR (Water and Waste Regulatory Authority) and audited by IPAC (Portuguese Accreditation Institute).
Technical Audit
This structure is also subject to ongoing technical audits, through participation in national and international interlaboratory tests with various entities (RELACRE, IELAB, LGC, AGLAE, AQUACHECK, among others), to ensure excellence in its performance in the field of environmental quality.
