SUMA has been recognised by the Portuguese as a benchmark in the environmental field, thanks to the effort and dedication of its team of professionals. In 2025, the company was once again honoured with the Environment Trustmark seal, awarded by the Reader's Digest Selections.

The award ceremony took place on 22 May and was attended by SUMA's Board of Directors.

This distinction is the result of a qualitative survey carried out among a representative sample of the Portuguese population, which assesses the degree of security and trust that consumers place in brands from 40 different areas of activity. SUMA's recognition reflects the organisation's commitment to maintaining the quality of the services it provides, contributing to improving people's quality of life and building a more sustainable environment.

This award is also a tribute to all SUMA employees, who offer their technical and human labour on a daily basis in favour of a cleaner and healthier environment. The trust of the Portuguese is a fundamental incentive for SUMA to continue developing responsible environmental practices and providing an essential public service.
