Under the motto ‘April Safety in Action’, SUMA marked this date with sessions held at all its companies and service centres in Portugal and in the countries where it operates. The action was attended by administrators, directors and management teams, who joined operational employees to discuss the Golden Rules of Safety, fundamental pillars of the Mota-Engil Group's SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) policy.

More than just a break from routine, the Safety Global Stand Down was a moment of collective involvement, reflection and sharing of experiences, with the aim of reinforcing an active, participatory and transversal safety culture. This action is part of the plan of annual initiatives aimed at promoting safer and more aware working environments, contributing to risk reduction and accident prevention.
