As part of the regular collaboration with the local authority, this operation involved teams and technical resources to meet the logistical needs associated with the Monumental Serenade and the Academic Parade - two of the highlights of Coimbra's student tradition.

The intervention included cleaning the grounds and the areas surrounding the Serenade, as well as preparing the roads and public spaces before the start of the Parade. During the event, SUMA teams were permanently on the ground, ensuring that cleanliness was maintained throughout the afternoon and evening. After the festivities came to a close, the public roads included in the official route of the Parade were washed thoroughly, covering an approximate length of five kilometres.

The operation involved more than 90 professionals - operators, technicians and coordinators - supported by collection vehicles, mechanical sweepers, street washers and support vans. In total, around 16.04 tonnes of waste were collected.

This action reinforces SUMA's commitment to the quality of public spaces and to supporting large-scale events, ensuring that traditions are celebrated in an environment that is clean, well-kept and ready to welcome everyone.
