The 5th Global Safety Stand Down brought together staff from all Mota-Engil Group operations around a common goal: to reinforce their commitment to safety and the prevention of accidents.

This initiative highlighted the importance of adhering to the Golden Rules, adopting best working practices and recognising the individual responsibility of each employee in promoting increasingly safe working environments.

At SUMA, the initiative took place at Head Office, in the Service Centres and at international subsidiaries, bringing together teams from different locations to reaffirm that safety is a daily commitment and a value that runs through the entire organisation.

More than just a moment of reflection, the 5th Global Safety Stand Down reinforced the importance of a safety culture based on prevention, the sharing of best practices and the involvement of everyone, helping to ensure that every employee returns home safely at the end of each working day.
