The operation took place in two distinct phases, ensuring that the parade was monitored and, subsequently, that the roads used during the event were cleaned and washed.

To meet the operation’s needs, various mechanical resources were mobilised, including refuse collection vehicles, vacuum sweepers, street-cleaning vehicles, high-pressure washing equipment, mechanical blowers and support vehicles, accompanied by a multidisciplinary team comprising cleaning operators, equipment operators, technical staff and operational coordinators.

At the end of the operation, around 13.9 tonnes of waste had been collected, the result of the work carried out on the ground by the teams involved in the operation.

The operation made it possible to restore urban hygiene standards and ensure a swift return to normality in the public spaces used during one of the city’s most iconic academic events.
